Greetings Ward 8 Residents,
You may recall that I had planned to host an Appreciation Reception last month for our many sponsors and volunteers. We had to push it back because we wanted to get it right. Happy to announce that we are ready to celebrate you. Please join us on May 27th at 6:30 for the Appreciation Reception.
Throughout the four years that I have been the Ward 8 Councilmember, we have hosted several annual events that supported Ward 8 residents, and we had several organizations that made it possible.
While Mayor Muriel Bowser has announced that the city is moving into a new phase of re-opening and allowing larger events and gatherings to occur starting May 21st, this event will remain virtual. We look forward to hosting some in-person events soon.
I look forward to seeing you on the 27th. Please register in advance to attend.
