John, we can't afford to miss this moment for gun safety
Donate to end gun violence >>
John,
More than one hundred people are shot and killed in this country, on average, every single day. Our lawmakers have an opportunity to fix our country's gun violence crisis, and that starts with strengthening our background check laws, funding community violence intervention programs, and confirming gun safety expert David Chipman to be the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
So much is at stake for our movement right now. We can't afford to miss this moment.
The U.S. Senate has the opportunity to pass major gun safety legislation for the first time in more than 25 years. We're doing everything we can to make that happen: So far this year, our supporters have already sent close to 150,000 messages and calls to Senators demanding that they take urgent action on background checks.
John, we need you with us to get the job done. Organizing and building the support needed to pass life-saving reforms through Congress and mobilizing our grassroots movement takes all the resources we can get. Can we count on you to make a donation of $9 or whatever you can give right now to Everytown and Moms Demand Action?

Our lawmakers owe us more than thoughts and prayers to end gun violence. Right now, they have the opportunity to take life-saving action. And with your support, we will continue to keep the pressure on and work every day to end gun violence.
Onward,
