John, I came into office with a deeply held belief about reproductive health: Every New Mexican has the right to make decisions about their own body. And together, we're defending that right.
Just a few short months ago, I was proud to sign Senate Bill 10, which repealed outdated laws that criminalized doctors for providing abortion care in New Mexico.
By passing this bill, the legislature affirmed loud and clear that everyone in New Mexico, regardless of gender, has the right to autonomy over their own body. This is one step forward in the long road to reproductive justice – but we need your help to keep up our momentum.
With the three Trump Supreme Court appointees agreeing to consider a case about Mississippi’s extremely restrictive abortion law, a real, imminent threat to overturning Roe v. Wade is looming closely overhead. Furthermore, Republicans are amping up their fear-mongering campaigns to restrict reproductive health care even more. To keep defending reproductive rights during this critical moment, we need to keep New Mexico blue – and we can't do that without your help.
John, we've already done so much to protect in New Mexico, and we need your help to continue defending these critical rights from Republican attacks. I've set a personal goal to raise $10,000 by midnight tonight to keep New Mexico blue – and I'm hoping you can help me.
John, I'm counting on your support to defend access to reproductive health care. Will you chip in $15 or more to help defend these critical rights and keep New Mexico blue?
