Conservative have a 6-3 Supreme Court majority. And that spells grave danger for Roe v. Wade.

BREAKING: Yesterday, the Supreme Court made the decision to hear a case involving a Mississippi abortion law that will directly challenge Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

This is the bad news we knew was coming. When Donald Trump hand-picked three new SCOTUS justices, he said he'd only nominate those who would put an end to Roe v. Wade.

Reproductive freedom is under attack. Can you help me fight alongside my coalition of Democratic AGs to keep abortion safe and accessible to all? >>

As the People's Attorney in Oregon, I've proudly spearheaded some of our state's landmark efforts to protect reproductive freedom. Last year I was honored to receive the Pro-Choice Champion Award from the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon.

I led a 21-state lawsuit against Trump's Title X Gag Rule; I fought back against cruel attempts in many states to eliminate abortion services during the pandemic; and I've joined my colleagues in support of full coverage for contraceptives in compliance with the Affordable Care Act.

But Republican-controlled legislatures continue to pass unconstitutional restrictions on reproductive rights. More than 500 abortion restrictions have been introduced in state legislatures across the country. CBS News called this wave of state laws "a high-stakes showdown over the future of Roe v. Wade."

In other words, these state abortion restrictions are passing and quickly making their way up to the Supreme Court — which now holds a 6-3 conservative majority.

The math is unfortunately simple: It is looking more and more likely that Roe v. Wade could be overturned by this Supreme Court. And I will continue doing everything I can to block these conservative attacks on Roe v. Wade.

Oregonians know that I won't back down when it comes to protecting the fundamental right to reproductive freedom. Will you join me in the critical fight to defend reproductive justice by making a donation now?
