Middle East Conflicts Wall of Honor arrives Friday at Oswego Village Hall
Middle East Conflicts Wall of Honor
View the exhibit for free 24 hours a day at Village Hall, following Opening Ceremonies on Saturday morning
This Friday, May 21, the Middle East Conflict Wall of Honor arrives in Oswego with an escort from the state line of frontline worker vehicles including fire, police, public works and a motorcade of veteran motorcyclists.
The Middle East Conflicts Wall of Honor represents fallen heroes from 2001 through 2016. As of February 2017, it included the servicemen and servicewomen killed in action during Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. There are now 32 panels with 104 names on each side of the panels. Viewing the Wall of Honor is an emotional experience for many and reminds us that the price of freedom is not free.
The Wall of Honor will be on display for the public free of charge, 24 hours a day, beginning after Opening Ceremonies, which will be held at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday at Oswego Village Hall.
