We were proud to watch Carolyn cast a vote to pass the For the People Act in the House, a sweeping voting rights bill that will give the American people MORE access to the polls.

But Mitch McConnell just pledged to do everything he can to defeat the For the People Act in the Senate.

Here’s why that’s so concerning, not just for Carolyn’s race but for Democrats nationwide:

The road to the House majority runs straight through our district. But this summer in Georgia, Republicans plan to purge hundreds of thousands of voters from the voter rolls. We NEED legislation like the For the People Act to protect voters in Georgia and across the country.

Republicans are scared. They’ve seen what happens when voters turn out in historic numbers — Democrats win. So instead of working to win more voters, they’d rather make it as difficult as possible to vote.

If Republicans want to cheat their path to a majority, we have to work that much harder to fight back and defend Carolyn.
