Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our priorities survey. As I was going through the results, one answer that came up over and over again was protecting voting rights.

As we've seen with voter suppression laws popping up in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and other states, voting rights are under attack in this country. Our democracy is healthier when more people are able to exercise their constitutional right to vote.

That's why I support the For the People Act. By expanding vote by mail, early voting, and automatic voter registration, this bill will make it easier -- not harder -- for people to make their voices heard and vote. It's time for the Senate to pass this critical piece of legislation.
