State of the Map Update from Senate Democratic Campaign, Sen. Gary Peters

Friend, I'm fresh out of a strategy meeting about defending our Senate majority, and I just had to reach out with an update about an all-important state: New Hampshire.

My friend Sen. Maggie Hassan won by the narrowest of margins in 2016 – roughly 1,000 votes – and some big Republican names are already lining up millions of dollars to defeat her this time around. CNN is even calling New Hampshire one of the top 10 most competitive races. 

Here's the hard truth: A loss in New Hampshire would give our newly won Democratic Senate majority right back to Mitch McConnell, allowing him to block every aspect of the Biden administration's bold agenda.

You know what it takes to win a close race, friend. As the chair of the Democratic Senate campaign arm, I am counting on this entire team to make defending our majority our first priority – and that means doing whatever it takes to win in New Hampshire.
