Hi —
Today is an important municipal and judicial primary election in Pennsylvania, which includes proposed amendments to the state constitution that everyone — regardless of party affiliation — can voice their opinions on.
If you’ve already voted, thank you for making your voice heard! Please forward this email to anyone you know who still needs to vote today.
If you still have a mail-in ballot that you haven’t returned yet, please return it to a dropbox today by 8pm. The process of forfeiting it and voting in person at the polls instead is complicated and will cause delays. Long lines at the polls could interfere with other voters casting their ballot. Please take your ballot to a drop box unless you lost or damaged it.
If you’re voting in person today, here are some tips to help you:
- Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you happen to be in line when the polls close, you’re still entitled to vote.
- Check your voter registration status and find your polling place here to confirm where you will be voting. If this is your first time voting at this location, bring a government ID and your voter registration card.
- Bring a mask to wear that covers your nose and mouth.
- Maintain social distance by staying 6 feet apart from poll workers and other voters while you are waiting in line, checking in, and voting.
- Be patient and follow instructions from poll workers and other election officials, who are there to help things run smoothly.
- Vote in each race and/or question on the ballot.
- Call 1-877-VOTESPA if you’re experiencing issues.
Regardless of what issue matters most to you, our democracy only works when we take an active role in it — and the best way to do that is to VOTE! Thanks for doing your part to make your voice heard.
Take care and be safe,
