Pelosi: Without you, President Biden's HISTORIC first 100 days wouldn't have been possible. Please help protect our fragile majority. It's more urgent than you think
First, I want to thank you for everything YOU did to elect a Democratic president, House, and Senate in 2020. Thanks to you, we're making a difference in real Americans' lives -- COVID relief, faster vaccinations, and so much more.

That wouldn't have been possible if Democrats didn't control the House, John.

But we can't stop now. We also passed the For the People Act, much-needed legislation to reform our elections and push back against Republican voter suppression. We passed two lifesaving gun violence prevention bills. We passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

This is the year we can get all those bills and more to President Biden for signature, but there's one BIG catch: Democrats have to be able to protect our House Majority against Republican attacks. The far right-wing media continues to spread lies about our Members and our policies. We need to be able to fight back against this onslaught -- not next year but right now.

The truth is, our House Majority is slim: just 8 members. And if Republicans get their way in the upcoming redistricting process, several of those seats could flip without a single vote being cast.

That's why it's so, so important that Democrats consistently push back on GOP attacks, defend our members, and make sure our candidates have the support they need to run successful campaigns. But that takes resources, John. I know next November seems far away, but we need to start right now if we want to be successful.
