I’m not going to back down on the issues that matter.

Dear friend,

I wanted to personally give you an update about what I’ve been working on. Last week, the House Committee on Financial Services passed my legislation on CEO pay disclosure, which increases transparency about the discrepancies between CEO's and employees’ salaries.

I also reintroduced a bill to end the 1033 program, which funnels military equipment to police departments. This program equips the police like an occupying army and has deadly consequences for communities of color.

Through these measures and beyond, I’m out there fighting for you. I’m not going to back down on the issues that matter. With your help, I will continue to advocate for bold, progressive change, as I have my entire career.

Can you support me today so that I can continue to fight these issues head-on?

DONATE

No one thing will fix these broken systems. I know how much work there is still to do, and I am willing to do it. But I can’t do it alone. With your help, I will keep working until we have comprehensive solutions. Chip in to make it possible.

In solidarity,
Nydia
