Physician voices are key in pushing back against these cruel attacks on people seeking abortion care and their health care providers.

With a Supreme Court stacked with more anti-abortion judges than ever before, we’ll need to do everything we can to show what we know to be true: that abortion is basic, safe, and essential health care.

Please let me know you’re with us in the critical fight ahead.

Subject : BREAKING: Supreme Court will hear case challenging Roe v. Wade

Dear John,

Today, the Supreme Court announced they will hear a case involving Mississippi’s ban on abortion care at 15 weeks. This is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade that could impact abortion access across the U.S.

As a community of physicians, we are alarmed that the Supreme Court will review a clearly unconstitutional ban that violates 50 years of precedent. We must push back.

Mississippians already face some of the most restrictive laws preventing communities from getting the health care they need. We should be making abortion care more accessible, not limiting options.

We urge the Supreme Court to listen to people who have abortions and to people who provide abortion care.

The Supreme Court must follow precedent and strike down unconstitutional laws like the Mississippi ban. Allowing even more unjustified restrictions on abortion will only hurt patients.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kristyn Brandi
Board Chair
