Hello there,

Last year, on the eve of George Floyd's murder, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul single handedly blocked a bipartisan bill that would have categorized lynching as a federal hate crime.

Then, he used his national platform to demonize the Black Lives Matter protesters while moving to protect Capitol insurrectionists and forcing a Senate vote to absolve the white-supremacist-in-chief of any wrongdoing.

Now, Rand Paul is launching a reelection campaign by telling the American people that “if Martin Luther King were alive to look at a lot of this wokeism, he would be disappointed in how … all we're talking about is race again.”

Americans, especially Black Americans, deserve better than a sitting Senator who uses his power and privilege to tear down communities.

Luckily, there's a bold progressive vying for Paul's seat. Charles Booker, formerly known as Kentucky's youngest Black state lawmaker, is focused on replacing Paul's racist agenda with progressive priorities like criminal justice reform, affordable health care, and a Green New Deal.

In Booker's words: “As Kentuckians, Black, white, or brown, we know structural racism is real. We know it undergirds the policies, economy, and budgetary decisions that shape our country.”

Booker won't shy away from the issues impacting our country, team. That's the kind of leadership we need now more than ever. But we won't lie to you -- this will be an uphill battle. While Booker has progressive champions like Bernie Sanders on his side, Rand Paul secured Donald Trump's endorsement and the millions that come with it.

Like Booker, we believe that our collective power is stronger than the GOP's divisive agenda.

There will be people who say that someone like Booker can't win in deep-red Kentucky, but we've proven the skeptics wrong before.

Thank you for helping us do it again.
