Since we launched our mid-quarter fundraising drive, hundreds of folks have chipped in — our average donation during that period is just $15.81. Pramila takes pride in getting the kind of support from regular folks that makes a $15.81 average contribution possible. She’s not taking massive checks from Big Pharma lobbyists and Wall Street PACs like so many other politicians in DC.
Pramila is leading on so many critical pieces of legislation and advocating for critical support to the American people. She’s a champion for working people — working people who haven’t gotten the support they need during this pandemic, during the last administration, and really, for decades.
For far too long, corporate profits have trumped the needs of regular people in our country. Big money in politics has led to more wealth inequality, more social injustice, and more profiteering. It’s clear that we need a movement to overcome the many injustices that people in this country have faced over decades.
