The Supreme Court just announced that they are going to hear a case that could potentially undermine Roe v. Wade and the right to an abortion.
This is a serious threat to reproductive justice, and we must act now to speak out in support of Roe v. Wade and elect leaders who will protect and expand reproductive care across the country.
This is the exact scenario that leaders in the reproductive justice movement have tried to warn us about for so long.
McConnell and Trump stole two Supreme Court seats, packing our nation’s highest court with anti-abortion justices. Republicans like Susan Collins tried to convince us that Roe v. Wade was not under threat. But she was wrong.
The Supreme Court will now decide whether the state of Mississippi can prohibit abortion after the 15th week of a pregnancy. If the law is allowed to stand, it will effectively ban abortion for far too many people— keeping critical health care out of reach particularly for low-income folks.

Every person who wants an abortion should be able to get one.
We need elected leaders who understand that and who won’t allow government to interfere with what is usually a difficult and deeply personal decision between a patient and their doctor.
Thank you,
