John,

Believe it or not, growing up, the thought of being a Congresswoman never crossed my mind.

But my life changed in 2012 when my son Jordan was shot and killed. Since then, I've made it my mission to fight for tougher gun safety laws that will help prevent other families from going through what mine did.

That's why today, I'm asking you to chip in to House Majority PAC so Democrats like me can keep fighting to move our country forward.

With the U.S. Supreme Court -- including two new Justices appointed by Donald Trump -- set to hear a big gun policy case soon, it's very possible we could be facing another setback in the courts.

That's going to make it even more critical that we keep Democrats in the majority in 2022, so we can keep fighting for changes to the law that could've saved my Jordan and could save countless others in the future.

Republicans will be coming after me, though, and other Democrats like me who are facing tough battles for re-election. Even though I've won two elections now, they still think this seat belongs to them. And they're going to spend millions to try to prove it.

The next election will be here before we know it, John. If you can, please pitch in to House Majority PAC now to help Democrats PROTECT our majority in 2022:

Thank you,

Congresswoman Lucy McBath
