Hit the Phones and Tell Those Enabling Israel What You Think

Earlier today, we learned that the Biden administration approved the sale ([link removed]) of $735 million in precision-guided weapons to Israel. Congress has just a few days to issue a resolution disapproving of the transaction.

The sale, of course, comes as Israel continues its unrelenting assault on the Gaza Strip, increases the suffocating and deadly presence of its occupation forces in the West Bank, works to further colonize ([link removed]) East Jerusalem, and facilitates the demonization and physical assault of its Palestinian citizens. In Gaza alone, the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights reports that 41,900 people have already been displaced by Israel’s bombing campaign.

As the devastation and death toll mounts, the U.S. has blocked three U.N. resolutions in the past week, continuing a trend ([link removed]) of shielding Israel from international pressure and accountability.

According to the Washington Post, Boeing will be selling the $735 million in new weapons to Israel. Al Jazeera also reported today that the bomb used by Israel to attack an international press building last week was manufactured in the U.S. by Boeing.
