It’s hard to believe we’re just two weeks away from election day.

We started this campaign with bold commitments to Canadians and a vision to put people first.

We wanted people to know that they can make a different choice this election – and at tonight’s debate, I’m going to make that choice crystal clear. We can continue the failed legacy of Liberal and Conservative governments that choose to help corporations and the super rich, or we can elect a New Democrat government that is in it for people.

And from Bathurst to Sudbury and Saint-Hyacinthe to Nanaimo, momentum is building in every community – so together, let’s drive this momentum to the polls.

John, people all over Canada have told me about struggling to make ends meet with strength and dignity. And people have shared their stories of optimism and hope when hearing about our plan to invest in health care for every person, fight the climate crisis, and make it possible to build a good life for their family. This campaign matters – and that’s why the next 14 days are so important. We need to give our teams on the ground everything they need to turn the energy we’re feeling into the votes we need to pull ahead this election. People across this country are ready to send NDP MPs to Ottawa who will stand up for our families – and our future. Our amazing slate of the most diverse and dynamic candidates are people who are facing the same issues we are – and that’s how we know they’re in it for us.
