“Supreme Court to weigh rollback of abortion rights” - Associated Press

Today, the Supreme Court announced that they would hear a decisive case on abortion rights that could effectively gut Roe v. Wade. 

This case, which lower courts found unconstitutional, would allow Mississippi to ban abortions that Roe v. Wade says are legally permissible. With Donald Trump’s conservative 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court, the ruling on this case could alter 50 years of legal precedent on a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions. 

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion would be criminalized essentially overnight in as many as 22 Republican-led states. We can’t let that happen in Minnesota.

Elections matter, John. And with the MN legislature set to adjourn tonight, we still need to raise $3,125 to be ready for the onslaught of anti-choice right-wing Republicans we expect to announce campaigns against Gov. Walz, AG Ellison, and DFL legislators across the state.
