We made very important strides with Obamacare: banning discrimination based on pre-existing conditions; establishing marketplaces for individual insurance; and implementing stricter standards for coverage and more robust regulation of a multi-billion dollar industry. But it isn’t enough, and it isn’t working on its own and without new laws and new ways to lower costs and cover every single American citizen.
