John,

News broke today that the Supreme Court will hear a case from Mississippi challenging Roe v. Wade and the constitutionally protected right to access abortion.

Let us be blatantly clear: abortion is still legal in all 50 states. Give to help keep it that way.

The case concerns a law in Mississippi that would ban abortions if the probable gestational age was determined to be more than 15 weeks – an obvious violation of Roe, which forbids states from banning abortion before fetal viability. [1]

Reproaction trusts individuals to make their own pregnancy decisions and rejects any and all time constraints on access to abortion. Join us in fighting not only this unconstitutional law, but also push for expanded abortion access.

This case will be the first abortion case heard since the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett, whose rushed nomination and vetting process tipped the court to a 6-to-3 conservative majority.

No matter who sits on SCOTUS, everyone needs to stay loud and get bold in the fight to increase access to abortion and advance reproductive justice.

Erin Matson
Executive Director, Reproaction

P.S. This is a long-haul fight that is not even close to over. Don’t despair. Fight back. Give today.
