John, now that
Connecticut is the first state in the country to vaccinate more
than 70% of adult residents, all of us at the CT Democratic Party
are reflecting on the challenges we’ve faced together over the
last year.
One of the most significant challenges was ensuring that voter
participation was high during last year’s elections, and absentee
voting was a major reason why we were able to help make that
happen while keeping people safe.
Now, it’s time to determine if Connecticut will permanently
implement absentee voting and join the 43 other states that
already allow early voting.
John, do you support
making no-excuse absentee voting permanent in Connecticut? Let us
know by taking our survey:

The Connecticut House just passed constitutional amendments to
implement both no-excuse absentee voting and in-person early
voting in our state.
The question of whether or not to implement early voting will
appear on next year’s ballot. If a majority in the CT Senate
votes for the no-excuse absent ballot resolution, that question
will appear on the 2024 ballot.
John, we want to know
if you support early voting and no-excuse absentee voting in
Connecticut — please respond here to let us know:
