INSPIRING HOPE THROUGH TRANSFORMATION
“I needed molding; I needed mentoring. ... I got into the streets and a lot of foolishness.” —LaDavid
When I (LaDavid) was young, I never felt at home. I was brought up in Dallas by my mom and stepfather, who was my only father figure since I was a toddler.
The way that my stepfather showed love—he always provided, but he didn’t talk much. … He was a wise man, but we didn’t talk much. My mother was young, and we had our issues, too. I struggled with feeling abandoned and misunderstood, so I tried figuring out life on my own.
That didn’t go so well.
BIBLES ARE NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER
Bibles are one of the ways to get hope behind prison bars. And nothing provides hope like the living Word of God. The demand for Bibles is at an all-time high. Will you help us meet the need? Please give generously today.
