VP Harris is navigating uncharted territory as the first Black and AAPI woman to ever hold her post. But in just over 100 days, she's become one of the most targeted politicians in the country.
Conservative media recently went on full attack mode against VP Harris for wearing a mask while kissing Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff. Spectator USA commentator Stephen Miller tweeted a picture of two people kissing while wrapped in condoms, prompting a number of Republicans to fire back with comments like “after where her lips have been … would you want to kiss them directly?”
Our VP has had to endure these types of comments for months, if not years.
Before losing the 2020 election, Trump brazenly claimed Harris “could never be president,” while dozens of Republicans purposely mispronounced Harris's name and circulated rumors that she “slept her way” into politics. All this in the midst of Fox News sexists like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity constantly questioning why Biden is giving Harris leading roles in the White House.
While Harris is no stranger to rising above the GOP's sexist, racist slander, we refuse to stay silent while Republicans fuel hatred among their base against our VP. Today, we need to hear from you.
