Friend,

Governor Dunleavy and Attorney General Clarkson continue to make news with their attacks on working Alaskans, particularly union members.

I’m writing today to say: I stand with Alaska’s working men and women.

While talking with folks on the trail and reading your responses to our surveys, I see many of us are concerned about our labor unions — often representing those doing some of the most dangerous or otherwise difficult work anywhere in the country—losing their bargaining power.

Alaska’s workforce is the best in the country, and Governor Dunleavy and those in Juneau should stand up for them, not stand against them.

And where is our Representative on this issue? Don Young could be speaking up and telling Governor Dunleavy and Attorney General Clarkson to stop threatening the rights of our workforce. But he’s said nothing. It’s time for a change.

Join our call for change in Alaska by making a contribution today »

I will continue to speak out on this issue, especially when those in Juneau and Washington continue to play political games rather than stand with our workforce.

I hope you’ll join me in this fight for change.

Thank you,
Alyse Galvin
