There are some words we turn to over and over again to describe Dianne Morales. Bold. Visionary. Transformative. But there’s a different word — one that people only seem to use to describe women. It happened in Thursday’s debate. “Feisty.”
If you’ve ever been called feisty, you know: It’s not necessarily a compliment. It means you’re not being taken seriously. Somehow men are never “feisty,” are they?
Our opponents can underestimate us all they want. We know that Dianne is the real deal and this campaign isn’t going anywhere but City Hall.
