Earlier this week, House Republicans voted to oust conservative Rep. Liz Cheney from her leadership post simply because she refused to go along with Trump’s Big Lie about the 2020 election, which led to the Capitol insurrection.

John, Liz Cheney and I agree on next to nothing. But regardless, it’s still a sad state of affairs when speaking the truth gets you removed by your own party.

The GOP has made it clear: telling the truth about the 2020 election results and standing up for democracy are not welcome in their party.

They’ve folded to Trump’s deranged will and let far-right conspiracy theorists like Marjorie Taylor Greene have a stranglehold on the party. They will be calling the shots if we don’t gear up right now to defend our majority and keep the House blue.

We should all be concerned about what's next for the GOP after this week’s events. Chip in to my campaign to make sure we’re prepared to defend the Democratic majority and keep them out of power.
