Tom McClintock has been voting against the best interest of our district for years, but he's really taken it to the next level in the past few months.

In case you haven't been keeping track, just take a look at some of his most recent votes:

- American Rescue Plan - our latest relief bill that funds school reopenings, COVID vaccines, and local community services.
-- VOTED NO

- Violence Against Women Act - federal legislation to protect women from abuse
-- VOTED NO

- Paycheck Protection Program - an extension of crucial federal funding to help keep small businesses afloat during the COVID 19 pandemic
-- VOTED NO

- HR1 - once-in-a-generation voting rights legislation to modernize and protect the security of our elections
-- VOTED NO

Here's what we can gather from that record: Tom McClintock doesn't care about opening schools and distributing life-saving vaccines; he doesn't care about protecting women from gun violence; he doesn't care about small businesses in our district; and he doesn't care about election security.

That's not the kind of representative we want or need at the moment, wouldn't you say?

For months he has peddled the Big Lie about the presidential election. He still denies the science of masks in protecting people from the coronavirus. He even wore one on the House floor that read "This mask is useless," for all the American people to see.
