Three days after removing Liz Cheney, House Republicans elected their new Conference Chair: Congresswoman Elise Stefanik of New York.

Unlike her predecessor, Stefanik is a full fledged Trump disciple and super spreader of the “Big Lie”. With her election, the House GOP made it crystal clear where their loyalty lies: with Donald Trump, and Donald Trump alone.

This is not a political party interested in addressing the challenges facing the American people. This is more like a cult mired in off-the-wall conspiracy theories and focused on advancing laws at the state level that would suppress voter turnout across the country.

And the scariest part is that there are many Americans who believe their lies — and accept the unhinged messages they are spewing!

If we’re going to protect our democracy and move this country forward, we need to work overtime to keep our Democratic majority.

So today, I’m asking if you can chip in $7 or whatever you can to help us reach our mid-quarter fundraising goal. We need to build a strong movement to win in 2022 and stop the comeback of the Trump Republican Party.
