Right after the Cook Political Report released a report rating VA-02 as an R+1 district, the powerful Koch-funded conservative group Americans for Prosperity announced that they’re planning a potential attack campaign against Elaine with no limits on its budget.

On top of that, we’re halfway to our critical FEC public deadline after which all of our fundraising numbers will be released -- if we look vulnerable, outside groups will flood this race with even more resources to try and flip this seat.
