Our planet is warming. Whether it’s wildfires in the west, hurricanes in the Gulf Coast and Atlantic, rising sea levels, and massive amounts of heat-trapping gases―we need an immediate investment in addressing the climate crisis. And we know how to do it.
President Biden has put forward a tax and investment plan that will rebuild critical infrastructure and make major new investments in clean green-energy, electric vehicles, a secure electric power grid, making homes and buildings energy-efficient, clean water and a whole lot more. Biden does all this by making corporations start to pay their fair share.
Now, it’s up to us to ensure that Congress supports this big, bold and GREEN infrastructure plan.
Green infrastructure ensures that all of our communities have access to clean drinking water. It ensures that communities of color aren’t in the shadows of industrial sites and major highways that pollute the air, water and soil.

We know we can afford these investments in our communities and our future when the rich and corporations start paying their fair share.
President Biden’s tax plan will increase the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%, which would raise over $700 billion. The corporate tax was actually 35% until Donald Trump slashed it in 2017, and higher than that before the Reagan years. Biden's plan will also close huge tax loopholes that encourage corporations to outsource jobs and shift profits to tax havens to avoid paying their fair share.
