At the Ms. Foundation for Women we know that JOY is powerful. It sustains us. It is an act of resilience. It gives us hope (and we all need a little bit of hope after the past year). Our theme is JOY UNMUTED, and while we can’t be together in person, the free event allows us to come together in community and share in our collective joy. You won’t want to miss it!
- Recognize and celebrate the lifetime work of activist honorees Laura Jiménez of California Latinas for Reproductive Justice and Marissa Nuncio of the Garment Worker Center in LA.
- Honor three phenomenal national leaders: Amanda Gorman, 2021 Inaugural Poet, Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, who helped develop Moderna’s covid-19 vaccine, and Amanda Nguyen, civil rights activist and founder of RISE.
