Friend,

Today, I wanted to reach out and thank all of the men and women who serve our nation in uniform. Your service both at home and abroad keeps America and our allies safe, strong, and secure.

This day is also dedicated to the brave police officers who have lost their lives while serving our country. Their tremendous sacrifice to keep their communities safe went above and beyond the call of duty. Today, we honor their legacy.

So to every member of our military and law enforcement, past and present, thank you for your service and sacrifice. We are forever in your debt.
