Government's crushingly disappointing plans fail on every account.


The Government announced their Queen's Speech on Tuesday. We believe that the
UK should emerge from the pandemic striving to become fairer, greener and more
caring - and we wanted a Queen's speech that reflected that ambition.

Yet the Conservatives are taking this country in the opposite direction. The
bills announced in the Queen’s Speech willdeepen inequality, leave the climate
crisis unchecked and further marginalise our society’s most vulnerable.
