Dear National Park Advocate,

Once again, the Trump administration is working to roll back
protections for people and national parks -- and willfully fueling the
climate crisis in the process. Park advocates need to speak out now!

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to repeal its
own regulation that requires oil and gas operations to reduce methane
and other pollutants that cause haze and smog. If this happens, our
national parks, people and planet will suffer.

It's a ridiculous plan. Parks need your voice now: Tell the EPA you
strongly oppose rolling back reasonable standards that curb methane
pollution.

Our parks and our planet are facing a climate crisis -- in fact,
national parks are warming at twice the rate of other locations,
threatening the survival of sensitive plants and animals.

Methane is the primary component of natural gas and a potent
contributor to climate change. EPA's current rule requires oil
and gas operators to find and capture methane so it doesn't leak
into the atmosphere.

Even major energy companies support these protections, yet the
administration is pushing ahead with its plan to roll them back.

Take action now! EPA should not be rolling back these sensible
protections. Allowing the oil and gas industry to release methane and
other harmful pollution into the atmosphere unchecked is unacceptable.

Thank you for continuing to take a stand for our national parks,
people and the planet. Every voice matters.

Sincerely,

Ulla Reeves

PS. We know from recent studies that personalized letters to
decisionmakers can make a real difference. All it takes is a quick
note to let them know that you're a real person who cares deeply
about America's parks. So please, take a moment to personalize
your letter before you send it!
