Dear friend,
Dianne made us so proud on the virtual debate stage last night. She gave voice to the values of our People-powered movement, speaking the words we all know to be true: We can’t afford to wait. Our communities need investments in care and dignity, not more policing or divestment from critical services.
The past year has only intensified what our communities have long known: New York City is built on the backs of Black women, immigrants, disabled people, the LGBTQ+ community and the working poor. Imagine a city that finally values the essential workers who keep NYC running; a city where our neighbors in crisis are met with care, not cops. Dianne knows we can make this vision a reality by building it together.
Dianne’s transformational campaign is possible because of the New Yorkers who power this movement, not big businesses or super PACs. Will you chip in to show your support ahead of the matching funds deadline this Monday? Dianne fights fearlessly for real transformation every day — and the debate was no exception. She emphasized the difference between policing and true public safety. She laid out a vision for ending segregation and fully funding our public schools. She lifted up Black trans lives as the center of our calls for dignity, care and solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community.
A New York City that values each and every person who calls it home: It’s within reach. We saw a glimpse of it at the debate last night. All we need to do is come together to push Dianne over the finish line on June 22.
Your donations make growing this movement possible — and in the next three days, they matter even more. Can you help us unlock an additional 8-to-1 funding match by donating before our May 17 deadline? In solidarity,
