That was the clear message from the 9th Floor as this busy week draws to a close. Governor Ducey on Thursday announced a detailed plan to get Arizonans back into the workplace.

At the beginning of the week, the Governor's focus was protecting Arizona voters. On Tuesday he signed legislation streamlining the way elections are conducted.

Governor Ducey joined 19 fellow governors to call for President Biden and VP Harris to reverse their destructive policies that have created the crisis at the southern border. The letter follows months of deteriorating conditions at the border in Arizona and other states.

Governor Ducey Signs Legislation To Expand Broadband ([link removed])
HB 2596 allows private broadband providers to install, operate and maintain telecommunications equipment within ADOT's rights-of-way. It also allows ADOT to grant access to its own broadband conduit to private telecommunications companies in a non-exclusive and non-discriminatory manner — reducing the cost of installing rural broadband infrastructure.

Governor Ducey Signs Bill Declaring Sierra Vista As The Hummingbird Capital Of Arizona ([link removed])
Birders can observe nearly 15 species of hummingbirds and more than 300 other bird species in the canyons, forests, and riverbanks in and around Sierra Vista, the largest community in Cochise County. This activity has garnered wide attention from birders around the world. Southeastern Arizona has for years been a birding hotspot.
