Friend, I just left a meeting with other DACA recipients and President Biden at the White House!
During the meeting, I shared how I’m fighting for citizenship not only for DACA recipients like me, but for my undocumented mother + the millions of other undocu folks living in this country:

As a teacher, I work with U.S. citizen children who have undocumented parents and have seen firsthand the fear that these families carry with them every day of being separated from their parents. In them, I see the same fear that I had growing up with an undocumented mother.
A meeting is just one step, President Biden reaffirmed his commitment to protecting DACA, but we need real action. He must ensure that Congress ends the nearly 35 years of inaction on a path to citizenship. Our communities need relief now, Friend.
