The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
This past week, the House came back to session. The Democrats continued to ignore the mounting issues our country currently faces and still refuse to give the GOP a voice in the legislative process. Nonetheless, I spent this week pushing back against the reckless, radical agenda of the Far Left and President Biden. Check out my newsletter below to see what I have been working on.
ICYMI: Trip to the Southern Border
Last week, I led a trip for several of my colleagues down to the U.S./Mexico border, visiting San Diego and Calexico, California, and Yuma, Arizona. We were grateful to spend time with Border Patrol agents and local city officials during our visit, and gathered new information on groups entering the country from Eastern Europe and South America. House Judiciary Committee
On Thursday, the House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security convened for a hearing on the Juvenile Justice Pipeline and the Road Back to Integration. I expressed my frustration with the Democrats’ unwillingness to focus on the real issues at hand - mainly the humanitarian crisis at our border. House Oversight Committee
The House Committee on Oversight and Reform also met for a hearing regarding the events that transpired on January 6th. I exposed the Democrats’ double standard in refusing to acknowledge the similar violence carried out by far-left extremists in the last several months. Press Conference on Critical Race Theory
During the week, my friend Congressman Dan Bishop of North Carolina invited me to speak at his press conference about the detrimental effects of Critical Race Theory on American society. You can view my speech below by clicking the photo:
East Valley Second Amendment Coalition
This month, we announced the formation and inaugural meeting of the East Valley Second Amendment Coalition dedicated to preserving and promoting the right of Arizonans to keep and bear arms. This newly founded group of leaders in the pro-Second Amendment community will regularly meet to discuss local, state, and federal actions that affect Arizonans’ Constitutional rights.
