Tomorrow is May 15th, which means we'll be exactly halfway through our fundraising quarter. This date is important because what we raise — or don't raise — will give us a pretty clear picture of whether or not we're on track to hit our fundraising goals before the big quarter ends on June 30th.
Pramila doesn't accept corporate PAC money. Not one cent of it. Our movement believes that big money doesn't belong in politics because it influences lawmakers, their agenda, their decisions, and in many cases, their votes. We need lawmakers at every level of government working 100% for the people — not for corporations.
Of course, that makes fundraising a bit harder. And it makes grassroots donations critically important. But we built this campaign — and sent Pramila to Congress! — with supporters like you. By keeping our fundraising on track, we'll ensure Pramila can stay focused on her fights for a wealth tax, a $15 minimum wage, Medicare for All, College for All, racial justice, and so much more.
