Advocacy Update:
Bringing mental health services to children >>

[link removed]

Friend, good news: Thanks to UNICEF USA advocates raising their voices, the House of Representatives just passed the Mental Health Services for Students Act (H.R. 721) on a bipartisan basis. This is an important development to help make sure schools are equipped to support students in the face of the anxiety, stress and all of the mental and social challenges caused by the pandemic.

We’re grateful for this action but we’re not quite done yet. Will you help us push the bill across the finish line NOW by calling on the Senate to pass it as well?

As schools reopen, children across the country will continue to feel the impacts of isolation, limited opportunity for social development and associated mental health challenges exacerbated by the pandemic. If we don’t take action now, students could face a lifetime of consequences.

Friend, now you see the power you can have as a UNICEF USA advocate. With just one click, you can let your Senators know how important it is to bring access to mental health services to students in the U.S.
