Their vote comes just two days after purging Liz Cheney from the same post for refusing to go along with Donald Trump’s Big Lie — that the 2020 election was stolen — and Stefanik couldn’t have been more clear where the GOP’s real allegiance lies:

“I also want to thank President Trump for his support. He is a critical part of our Republican team.”

We can’t afford for a party led by demagogues and debunked conspiracy theories to undo the progress we’ve made to end this pandemic and rebuild our economy.
