Hi! I’m Annie, the finance director on John King’s campaign for governor. I wanted to let you know that tomorrow is our mid-month deadline!

How we perform this month will set the tone for this entire race. May is the first full month of our campaign, and we need to know how much we can budget for organizing, staffing, and more.

At the end of the month, we will have to make major budgetary choices for how to proceed. I want to ensure that this campaign reaches its full potential, but to do so, we’re going to need to prove that we can be successful in our grassroots fundraising.

That’s why I’m asking you now: will you chip in before our mid-month deadline?

I believe in John and in the progressive change he hopes to bring to Maryland. It’s my job as finance director to make sure we have the resources to let the voters of Maryland know what a tremendous impact John’s leadership will have on this state. I want to make sure we reach the halfway point of this month on track to hit our goal!

That’s why this mid-month deadline is so important and why I am asking you to pitch in today. No matter the amount, your contribution will be instrumental in allowing this to campaign thrive.
