I'm a proud progressive fighting to protect our country in Congress - and I'm asking you to join me with a $5 donation.

I've never been one to back down from a challenge.

In 2016, I became the first South Asian woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

And as a progressive woman of color in Trump's America, I know first-hand the uphill battle we face.

We have to fight every day to defend our hard-earned rights, because they are under constant threat from Trump and the Republicans.

But I simply can't do it alone.

So I'm humbly asking: Will you chip in just $5 to help me keep fighting in Congress?

As Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, I've been able to advocate for the issues that matter most to progressive Democrats nationwide.

I founded the Medicare for All Congressional Caucus, joining forces with other progressive leaders to guarantee health care as a human right.

And with your support this will be just the beginning.

In the Trump-era, we have a moral obligation to pay attention and speak up for those without a voice:

Children separated from their families at the border
Women without access to life-saving medical care
Hard-working people struggling to pay their bills
So many Americans are looking for a change -- one that progressive values and a willingness to look beyond ourselves can tackle.

So I hope you'll stand with me today and chip in $5 to my progressive campaign for Congress. I can't do this without you! >>
