We can’t reason with Mitch McConnell when he promises to spend “100 percent” of his energy on stopping Democrats and the Biden administration.
If we think McConnell is terrible now, it could get so much worse. If Republicans take back the Senate, McConnell will be the majority leader, and any legislation in the final two years of Biden’s first term will grind to a halt.
Democrats have so much more we want to accomplish — passing voting rights legislation, tackling gun violence, combating climate change, and more.
But Mitch has been loud and clear. He committed to stopping progress in any area simply because Democrats champion it.
If we don’t have the resources to keep the Senate in 2022, we’re in big trouble.
So please, before the mid-quarter deadline tomorrow, pitch in now to stop Mitch McConnell. →
