John,

The running joke of President Trump’s lone term was that infrastructure week was supposed to be week one, but it never happened. That isn’t a joke to Montanans who know our state desperately needs investment in infrastructure. With Democrats in the majority nationally, real infrastructure investment seems possible through President Biden’s American Jobs Plan.

Sec. Buttigieg often mentions the importance of rural broadband in Montana, but we also need help with our roads and bridges. The White House gave us a “C” grade on our overall infrastructure, noting that 377 bridges and 46% of our roads are in poor to mediocre condition and we need $15 billion to fix them.

It’s true, we need a traditional infrastructure overhaul as well as a new investment in our digital infrastructure. And based on the new Administration, it is clear that these investments are only serious proposals with Democrats in charge.

Tell Congress you’re on board by urging them to PASS President Biden’s American Jobs Plan to fix our infrastructure!

Safe roads and bridges are critical to making sure folks can commute to and from work, travel with their families, and can visit our state from out of town. Good infrastructure benefits all Montanans.

So help us get 1,000 signatures today urging Congress to pass this critical infrastructure bill.

Thank you for your support,
Montana Democrats
