This weekend marks the midway point to the June FEC fundraising deadline when every candidate for federal office files an official FEC fundraising report of funds raised and number of donations to our campaign.

Senate Republicans led by NRSC Chair Rick Scott are determined to try to flip this Maryland seat red and take back the majority. And we know that whomever they recruit - they will be well-funded.

So before you log off and head out to enjoy today's spring weather, I’m asking you to consider chipping in to my re-election campaign to help us meet our goal. We need to be prepared for whatever Rick Scott and the NRSC have in store for us >>

As we saw earlier this week with Liz Cheney, Republicans have doubled down on their loyalty oaths to Donald Trump and his Big Lie, and are taking action against anyone in their party who DARES to speak the truth — that Trump lost the presidential election fair and square.

Grassroots activists like you mobilized in 2020 to elect Joe Biden and deliver Democratic majorities to the House and Senate. Thanks to those efforts, we won a fighting chance to protect our democracy from further damage and focus on making progress on the people’s business.

But that fight is far from over. And the future is uncertain.

That’s why we must stay vigilant, and prepare to defend our narrow Senate majority in 2022 with everything we’ve got.
