**As President Hosts Dreamers,
Next Up Should Be ...**

**WASHINGTON, D.C.** - President Biden is scheduled to meet this
afternoon with six Dreamers who are recipients of Deferred Action for
Childhood Arrivals.

The following is a statement from

**Ali Noorani, President and CEO of the National Immigration Forum**:

"Today's meeting shows Dreamers the respect they deserve. Many DACA
recipients have been working on the frontlines as America has weathered
the pandemic.

"The meeting is also an important step forward in terms of prioritizing
immigration. The next immigration meeting in the Oval Office should be
with a bipartisan group of senators, to hash out a compromise on
immigration reforms.

"In the end, Congress must act to make Dreamers' contributions
permanent and address other overdue changes to our immigration
processes."
