Sophia Chen, My School Votes
As part of our My School Votes program, Sophia helped get voters in her community and beyond get registered and ready to cast their ballots in the 2020 election. Her Chinese American identity and experiences influenced her choices to be an advocate in the voter engagement space. We’re so grateful to have Sophia as part of our When We All Vote movement.
Kanittha Fay, Voting Squad Captain
We’re happy to celebrate the advocacy and civic engagement of our Voting Squad Captain, Kanittha Fay! Kanittha is a mom, wife, Thai immigrant, and voter getting her community registered and ready to vote and leading the fight against voter suppression.
“As an immigrant, I am grateful for what the country has done for me, and I am determined to give back by helping strengthen our democracy because when we all vote, we vote for ALL, including people who do not have the right to vote.” We are so proud to have Kanittha as part of our When We All Vote family, and we’re excited to continue changing the culture around voting with her.
