Six people were shot and killed at a Colorado Springs birthday party on Mother's Day. The NRA doesn't seem to care. Just hours after the shooting, the NRA posted a glib tweet of a little girl holding a rifle with the message: “Mama didn't raise a victim.”
Progressives in Congress have consistently attempted to pass meaningful gun violence prevention legislation, but NRA-backed Republicans have blocked every single bill in the eight years since a gunman murdered 20 children and 6 school employees at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Innocent people die every single day because Republicans care more about the NRA's money than our lives.
